The contract will see the company compete on task orders to deliver engineering and technical services for existing and developing ‘afloat, ashore and airborne networks’.

These systems allow net-centric operations to be carried out in naval, joint, allied, and coalition missions.

Noblis MSD president Glenn Hickok said: “We’re committed to helping the navy optimise its networks to support the warfighter and advance critical missions.

“This award is another step in delivering on that commitment, and we’re honoured to be selected as part of the team.”

The contractual work will be carried out in San Diego in California, Norfolk in Virginia, as well as select locations outside of the continental US.

In 2016, the company won a contract and the latest order is a follow-on to it.

Noblis MSD Naval Warfare System Command division vice-president Lori Ventimiglia said: “The Noblis MSD team has helped advance NIWC Pacific initiatives for more than seven years.

“We look forward to leveraging this experience and our expertise in networking, technology insertion and integration to design robust and secure systems and enable rapid delivery to the fleet.”
