The firm completed this work by deploying a team of three mechanics and an electrician to Portuguese Navy Squadron based in Lisbon, Portugal.

The Vector team also conducted rectification work on another Lynx, enabling the helicopter to return to service.

In February, the Portuguese Navy confirmed plans for the life extension and modernisation of its fleet of five AgustaWestland Super Lynx Mk 95 shipborne helicopters.

"This project is another significant step in our expansion into world markets for rotary wing MRO."

The Super Lynx Mk 95 fleet includes three new-build aircraft, and two ex-Royal Navy Lynx HAS.3 airframes remanufactured to the Mk 95 standard.
