Elbit Systems has been contracted by the Brazilian Marine Corps (BMC) for the provision of advanced command, control, communications, computers, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR), electronic warfare (EW), radio and communication systems.

The contract is valued at approximately $40m and will be carried out over a period of two years.

The new deal will see the company deliver advanced technologies and operational capabilities, including a wide range of battle management systems (BMS) applications, in addition to C4I systems for artillery, the latest generation of Soldier C4I suit and upgraded EW capabilities.

Elbit Systems will deploy the new systems in the BMC’s fixed and deployed command centres, as well as in vehicles / armoured personnel carriers (APCs) and dismounted configurations.
