Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation has won a $68.79m contract to supply littoral combat ship (LCS) gun mission modules to the US Navy up to July 2019.

The deal was awarded by the US Naval Sea Systems Command, and will see Northrop Grumman provide support for the engineering, sustainment, interim deport level maintenance, basic outfitting assembly and installation of the LCS gun modules.

Lockheed Martin Corporation has been awarded a basic ordering agreement worth $68.02m for the provision of engineering and logistics support to the Mk 92 fire control system (FCS) for a five-year period.

The contract covers various services such as equipment repairs and upgrades, engineering and field services, and computer programming, and was awarded by the US Naval Surface Warfare Center.

Dover subsidiary Pole / Zero Acquisition Inc has been selected to provide support services for the US Navy’s P-8A Poseidon multi-mission maritime aircraft until April 2019.

The $20.29m arrangement was awarded by the US Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, and covers support services for the organic depot-level maintenance repair capability of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft.

US Naval Sea Systems Command awarded the deal, which will allow Lockheed Martin to conduct research on the Aegis combat system for a number of international customers under the foreign military sales programme.

Rockwell Collins-ESA Vision Systems has won a $10.68m delivery order from the US Navy to produce night-vision cueing and display (NVCD) systems for the helmet-mounted cueing system (JHMCS).

The contractor will provide non-recurring engineering and testing of NVCD systems until May 2019 as part of the contract.
