The US Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command has awarded a contract worth approximately $492.4m to DRS Laurel Technologies and three other contractors for the provision of automated digital network systems (ADNS).

The companies will supply ADNS increment III production units and supplies to support the tactical wide area network (WAN) unit of the naval communications system under of the deal.

Work under the contract is scheduled to be completed by June 2025.

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has received a one-year, $61.27m contract modification from the US Naval Sea Systems Command in support of the Aegis combat systems’ development and test sites.

The contractual scope includes technical engineering services, quality assurance, associated equipment and supplies, operation and maintenance services, and configuration management.

"FLIR Surveillance Inc has been awarded a five-year deal to procure 19 forward-looking infra-red (FLIR) Star SAFIRE 380-HD systems for the US Coast Guard’s HC-27J Spartan military transport aircraft."

The order has a total worth of roughly $37.7m and will see Technical Solutions’ Fleet Support Group provide depot-level maintenance and modifications for the enhancement of the ship’s military and technical capabilities.

The agreed works will be carried out through April 2018 in San Diego, California, US.

FLIR Surveillance Inc has been awarded a five-year deal to procure 19 forward-looking infra-red (FLIR) Star SAFIRE 380-HD systems for the US Coast Guard’s HC-27J Spartan military transport aircraft.

The deal was awarded by the US Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and also includes associated HD FLIR cabling, mounting hardware, software, controller units, logistics support, and technical engineering services.

Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Ingalls Shipbuilding division has been granted a contract modification by the US Navy to perform Flight III upgrades on the Jack H. Lucas (DDG 125) guided missile destroyer.

The agreement covers the installation of new Advanced Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) system, which is set to replace the existing SPY-1 radar on the previous DDG 51 destroyers.
