Cubic solutions and services have been designed to improve warfighting and training capabilities for Australian Navy vessels and their crew members throughout their evolution cycle.

The NSWC was developed at the HMAS Watson Naval Base on Sydney Harbour and is expected to facilitate synthetic training events, along with the delivery of local and distributed mission training activities using both land-based simulators and ships.

Cubic is also the simulation support service contractor for the Australian Defence Simulation and Training Centre (ADSTC), which supports the development of joint training operations.
