Lockheed Martin has received a $700.4m contract modification to fund procurement of long lead materials, parts, and components for Lots 20 and 21 of the F-35 production aircraft.
The scope includes orders for the government of Denmark, as well as F-35 Cooperative Program Partners and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.

The Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland, serves as the contracting authority for this fixed-price incentive undefinitised advanced acquisition agreement.
The funds obligated at the time of award comprise $305.9m from F-35 cooperative programme partners and $394.5m from FMS customers.
Work under this contract will be carried out in multiple locations, including Fort Worth, Texas with 59% of the effort, El Segundo, California with 14%, and Warton in the UK with 9%.
Additional work will take place in Cameri, Italy and Orlando, Florida, each accounting for 4%. Nashua in New Hampshire and Baltimore in Maryland will each see 3% of the work, while San Diego, California will account for 2%.
