The US Navy has awarded a contract to federal government contractor KMS Solutions for cybersecurity services.
Under the deal, the company will be responsible for supporting US Naval Undersea Warfare Command Code 25 projects.

The range of projects includes assessment and authorisation, research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E), as well as environment maintenance, and in-service engineer agent (ISEA) support.
KMS Solutions vice-president Michael Martino said: “KMS Solutions is pleased to provide Code 25 with these services and will bring a wide range of domain knowledge, mission experience, best practices, and next-generation capabilities to the navy.
“Through this contract, we will provide Code 25 with proven, successful cybersecurity services.”
The list of cybersecurity services being provided by the company will help in the development, assessment, modernisation, upgrade and sustainment of the US Navy’s tactical and support systems.

In September last year, KMS secured a task order from the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and its Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport under the US Navy’s SeaPort-e programme.
