CCC acts as Canada’s government-to-government contracting agency and facilitates foreign military sales by supporting Canadian defence suppliers in the US procurement market.

The agency is funded by the Government of Canada to enable companies such as Curtiss-Wright to deliver Canadian-developed solutions to entities within the US DoD.

CCC provides Canadian businesses with access to expertise and support through its free US DoD Prime Contractor service for those seeking opportunities in the US defence procurement sector.

CCC and Curtiss-Wright have previously partnered on multiple contracts with the US military valued at over C$300m ($219m).

In August 2025, CCC was also awarded a contract for power supply units to be deployed with identification friend or foe detection systems on US Navy vessels.

Earlier the same year, CCC secured a contract worth $13.3m to supply QinetiQ’s Vindicator Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle target systems and services to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division.
