Asia-Pacific was the fastest growing region for robotics hiring among naval industry companies in the three months ending February.
The number of roles in Asia-Pacific made up 6.3% of total robotics jobs – up from 2.5% in the same quarter last year.
That was followed by North America, which saw a 0 year-on-year percentage point change in robotics roles.

The fastest growing country was India, which saw 0.7% of all robotics job adverts in the three months ending February 2021, increasing to 5% in the three months ending February this year.
That was followed by Germany (up 1.5 percentage points), Singapore (0.7), and Canada (0.4).
The top country for robotics roles in the naval industry is the United States which saw 82.6% of all roles advertised in the three months ending February.
Which cities are the biggest hubs for robotics workers in the naval industry?
Some 7.6% of all naval industry robotics roles were advertised in Newport News (United States) in the three months ending February.
That was followed by Tucson (United States) with 5.8%, Bengaluru (India) with 4.5%, and Everett (United States) with 3.1%.
