Raytheon Technologies Corporation is a supplier of technology products and services that is recognized for Business Expansion and Innovation in the 2022 Naval Technology Excellence Awards.

The company has expanded its operations including subsidiary Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) securing a contract to offer logistics and repair services for all US Marine Corps (USMC) ground equipment as well as a partnership with another company to integrate Raytheon’s AN/AQS-20C advanced mine-hunting sonar system data into the SeeTrack v4 system.

Raytheon Technologies has also been working on navigation systems with one of the company’s units launching a new solution called the Military Underwater Navigation System with M-Code (MUNS-M), a handheld diver navigation system developed under contract with the US Department of Defense. The company also worked with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) to successfully conduct demonstrations of the Network Cooperative Radar (NCR) programme, the programme is aimed at developing an advanced radar system.

The company also delivered NP2000 propeller systems for the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft through one of its subsidiaries, as well as opening a new integration and test facility at Portsdown Technology Park for Warship Integrated Navigation and Brigade System (WINBS) work.

The company also secured a contract to provide engineering and other support services for the US Navy’s Zumwalt-class guided missile destroyers and delivered the US Navy’s first Block V configured Tomahawk missile.

Finally the company also secured a five-year $146m contract to support the US Navy’s counter narco-terrorism operations, operating and maintaining the US Government’s relocatable over-the-horizon radar (ROTHR) system, a long-range, land-based, wide-area surveillance system that tracks aircraft and surface ships within designated surveillance zones off the US coastline.
