The US Navy’s SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) has contracted Millennium to provide cyberspace, research, engineering, and technology integration.

The contract will run for a five-year period and has a maximum potential value of $28.5m if all options are exercised.

Millennium will deliver technology assessment and development, rapid software development and prototyping, training, security engineering, and cybersecurity risk management under the multiple-award contract.

Millennium Corporation business development vice-president Keith Cromack said: "This contract is an integral part of our strategy for the growth of our IT and cyber security business and our service to the navy.

The contract also requires the company to provide systems engineering, IT and sustainment advisory services to the Navy through the PMW 240 Sea Warrior Program Office.

The Sea Warrior Program Office is responsible for managing a complex portfolio of information technology systems that enable the navy to support human resource management, criminal justice, fleet support, afloat business applications, portfolio management, and joint aviation aircraft scheduling.

Work under the contract will be carried out in San Diego, California, and at other locations both in the US and abroad.

SSC Pacific conducts research, development, delivery, and support of integrated command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR), cyber, and space systems across all warfighting domains.
