Israel-based weapons manufacturer IMI Systems has secured two new contracts for the delivery of WAVE 350 naval remote controlled weapon stations (RCWS) to two Far Eastern Navies.

The deals will see the compact, lightweight, low-profile WAVE 350 RCWS deployed on naval platforms.

IMI's RCWS solution is an advanced, combat-proven, fully stabilised system that has been designed by the company to meet modern battlefield challenges, thereby offering a comprehensive capability for targeting and weapon handling from within a protected location.

The stabilisation, target tracking and image processing capabilities of the IMI system helps crew members and gunners to acquire targets and enhance their hit probability night and day, both static or when in motion.

RCWS WAVE systems can be easily deployed on all types of combat vehicles, marine vessels, and platforms and static posts.
