Huntington Ingalls Industries' subsidiary Newport News Shipbuilding has secured a contract modification worth $148.73m in support of the US Navy's USS Enterprise (CVN 80) aircraft carrier.

The modification will require the contractor to provide additional long-lead-time materials for the CVN 80.

The contract was awarded by the US Naval Sea Systems Command and is set to run through January 2024.

ManTech International Corporation has secured a $21m deal to support the US Marine Corps (USMC) Systems Command Systems Engineering, Interoperability, Architecture and Technology (SIAT) activities.

The five-year arrangement will see ManTech help enhance integration and interoperability across the USMC, Department of Defense, and naval systems programmes, as well as provide engineering and technical solutions for the Marine Air Ground Task Force.

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has received a contract modification worth roughly $14.08m for the integration and testing of the US Navy's Aegis Weapon System (AWS) up to August 2018.

Work under the deal will be performed in Washington, DC and Moorestown, New Jersey.

The French Ministry of Armed Forces has awarded a five-year contract to ECA Group in support of the French Navy's PAP demining remotely-operated vehicles (ROVs).

The agreement requires ECA to deliver consumables and logistics support for the PAP demining ROVs, which are set to remain in service with the French Navy up to mid-2020.
