Palantir Technologies and Lockheed Martin have announced a collaboration to deliver modern software to support US Navy combat systems for current and future requirements.
This collaboration will see Lockheed’s technical experience being leveraged along with Palantir’s Apollo platform.

In an effort to drive innovation, the two firms will work with the US Navy to modernise the combat systems for the surface fleet.
Palantir Apollo platform utilises autonomous deployment to enable developers to write and deploy software that includes the application’s requirements.
As well as allowing teams to work closely and asynchronously on software, Apollo enables DevOps, security teams, and operators to scale and drive innovation quickly, all while providing feedback and performance reporting in real time.

In August, Lockheed Martin delivered a high-energy laser with an integrated optical-dazzler and surveillance system to the US Navy.
In March 2020, Palantir was contracted to support the US Navy’s Naval Operational Business Logistics Enterprise (NOBLE) family of systems (FoS).
