The company will provide up to 1,012,800 hours of direct labour support services, including maintenance, life cycle sustainment, integrated logistic support, and management.
BAE Systems will also perform upgrades on the US Navy’s current systems such as the command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) system using modern technologies to support the special communications mission solutions division.
Awarded by the US Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), the contractual work is expected to be completed in August 2023 at various locations in the US.
