These culminate in high-end Integrated Phase major exercises designed to confirm deployment readiness.

In addition, SAIC will offer reach-back training support to strike groups and amphibious ready groups during deployments, adapting to changing operational environments and emerging threats.

The contract includes a ten-month base period with options for four additional one-year periods and a six-month extension.

This arrangement is designed to ensure continuity and long-term improvement of the Navy’s training programmes.

SAIC Navy Business executive vice president Barbara Supplee said: “Our team is extremely proud to continue this decades-long, dedicated support for the US Navy to advance their operational readiness.

“This program is integral to ensuring the Navy is thoroughly prepared to execute any mission assigned by Geographic Combatant and Forward Fleet Commanders. It directly enhances the Navy’s ability to deploy and employ all facets of the naval force on a global scale – making a critical difference in combat situations and supporting the Chief of Naval Operation’s priority of developing highly capable warfighting teams equipped for the complexities of modern combat environments.”

This new contract reinforces SAIC’s ongoing commitment in bolstering the Navy’s global combat readiness and capabilities.

In August 2024, SAIC secured a five-year contract from Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) to continue its support for the Tactical Training Group Pacific’s (TTGP) fleet training programme.
