BWXT nuclear operations group president Gary Camper said: “The BWXT team is proud to produce this essential hardware that allows the US Navy to carry out its critical national security mission. That commitment to quality is the legacy that comes from our more than 70 years of service to the Navy.”

Naval nuclear reactors encompass an intricate assembly process that involves both large-scale, heavy parts and smaller precision-machined components, along with highly enriched uranium fuel.
