Deals this week: Kilgore Flares, BAE Systems, Raytheon Missile Systems
Kilgore Flares Co LCC has won a contract worth $30.79m to produce and deliver up to 1,260,638 SM-875/ALE simulator flares, which will be used by US Navy pilots and ordnance technicians.
The five-year contract has been awarded by the US Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support.
BAE Systems has awarded a contract to Aeronautical & General Instruments Limited to design and manufacture visual landing aids for installation on-board the British Royal Navy's first three Type 26 Global Combat Ships.
The visual landing aids will feature advanced LED technology and are expected provide the navy vessels with increased performance and reliability.
The US Missile Defense Agency has awarded a $66.44m one-year contract modification to Raytheon Missile Systems Company in support of the Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) Block IIA programme.
