The US Naval Air Systems Command has awarded a $267.25m-worth two-year logistics support contract modification to Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office (JPO).

The modification allows Bell-Boeing JPO to perform additional joint performance-based logistics support work on the US Marine Corps’ MV-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft and the US Air Force Special Operations Command’s CV-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft.

The US Navy has awarded an $86m-worth contract to BAE Systems to perform engineering, maintenance and integration of different combat systems and mission equipment for the Naval Sea Systems Command’s (NAVSEA) Surface Combat Systems Center in Virginia, US.

BAE Systems has also agreed to perform post-construction work for the USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000) and USS Michael Monsoor (DDG 1001) guided missile destroyers, under a $192.7m-worth contract with the US Navy.

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems will continue to provide engineering services for the US Navy’s Aegis Combat System Engineering Agent (CSEA) under a $77.23m-worth contract modification.

Scheduled to be completed in December next year, the modification covers design, development, integration and testing of CSEA’s computer programme baselines and hardware design.

Envisioneering has agreed to provide scientific and engineering support for the US Navy’s off-board electronic warfare systems, under a $49.9m-worth contract.

Awarded by the Naval Research Laboratory, the contractual work is scheduled to be completed in November 2021.

General Dynamic Electric Boat has received a contract worth $46.99m for non-nuclear maintenance and repair works on the Groton-based submarines at the Naval Submarine Base in Connecticut, US.

The contract, which is scheduled to be completed in December 2017, was awarded by the US Navy under the New England Manpower Initiative.
