Deals this week: BAE Systems Hawaii, Lockheed Martin, DRS Systems
BAE Systems Hawaii has been awarded a contract by the US Navy's Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility to perform work on the USS Port Royal (CG 73), a Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser.
The $23.97m deal relates to CG 73's scheduled selected restricted availability (SRA), including execution planning, repair and alteration works.
BAE Systems Land and Armaments L.P. has received a $16.82m order from the US Naval Sea Systems Command for two 57mm MK 110 Mod 0 gun mounts and associated hardware.
The MK 110 Mod 0 gun mounts are scheduled for delivery by November 2019 and will be installed on the US Coast Guard Cutters to fight against medium and short range surface targets.
The US Naval Air Systems Command has awarded a two-year logistics support services contract worth $24.11m to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company.
Lockheed Martin will provide recurring logistics services for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter aircraft operated by US armed forces, non-Department of Defense participants and foreign military sales customers under the deal.
DRS Systems Inc has been awarded a contract by the US Naval Sea Systems Command to support the DDG 1000 Integrated Power System through September 2022.
The scope of the contract includes the procurement of provisioned item orders, in addition to engineering and associated support services.
DRS will also provide support for the installation of Integrated Flight Through Power (IFTP) on the DDG 1000-class ships as part of the arrangement.
