The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC Atlantic) has contracted CACI International to provide communications systems, satellite communications, and network support services for critical systems used by US Navy operations.
Under the $77m, four-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, CACI will provide full lifecycle support, including logistics, systems integration, training, and 24/7 technical support for nearly 2,500 satellite communications systems worldwide.
The contract will also see the company offer a wide-area network infrastructure services for around 90 sites under the US Special Operations Command and other joint combat commands.
CACI president and CEO Ken Asbury said: “This significant recompete builds CACI’s business with the US Special Operations Command, which we support through multiple programmes and contracts.
“Our commitment to the Special Operations mission aligns both with our market-based strategy and our dedication to supporting US national security.
“The award is also another example of the success of CACI’s mergers and acquisitions strategy in bringing new capabilities to our customers and growing our business.”
