The US Navy has selected the Good Technology’s HP mobile management solution leveraging good for enterprise (GFE) to secure official government data on multiple mobile device platforms.
The solution allows the US Navy to provide more device choices to its personnel while securing their mission-critical data.
As part of this development, HP implemented GFE across the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) network in order to collect content and apps on DoD-issued smartphone devices as part of the navy’s next-generation enterprise network (NGEN) contract.
In addition, Good Technology delivers secure container solution that separates government data from personal data.
The container solution allows users to perform work-related and personal activities on the same device.

With the support of Good Dynamics secure mobility platform, GFE offers a secure perimeter around agency data that separate users’ personal data and apps.
Moreover, it offers simple and remote removal of the Good container, in the event the device be lost or stolen.
GFE is the only cross-platform mobile collaboration solution to achieve EAL4+ certification and to meet this level on either iOS or Android.
It also supports other mandated authentication and security credentials, including DoD Directive 8100.2, HSPD-12 and FIPS-validated encryption.
