Under the one-year, $16m task order, Engility will develop and deliver advanced training solutions and embedded advisory support to the USMC.

"With this contract, we have the opportunity to help modernise the Marine Corps training programme."

“The marines have come to rely on Engility to provide innovative training and technical expertise as well as programme management and logistics support to their missions around the world.”

Engility will deliver training support on newly-fielded equipment and software, as well as develop virtual-world 3D immersive training environments to host USMC training.

These virtual training environments will be suitable for use in a media-rich classroom or in a mobile app to accommodate individual distance learning.

The contract will also require Engility to supply Command Post Systems Advisors to support information management officers, who are responsible for the deployment and use of command and control systems within their respective units.

The advisors will be embedded with the Marine Expeditionary Force and major supporting commands.

Recently, Engility was contracted by the US Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Airworthiness and CYBERSAFE Office to deliver technical services to support aircraft safety-of-flight determinations, and prepare the resulting flight clearances.
