The US Navy has awarded a contract for the follow-on production of the additional enhanced laser-guided training rounds (ELGTRs).

Valued at $23.1m, the contract will see Lockheed Martin manufacture the ELGTRs to support the navy’s Paveway II Laser Guided Bomb (LGB) weapons training.

The current deal exercises the contract’s initial option negotiated last year and extends production of the training rounds into late-2020.
