The Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) will provide a wide range of IT services to the US Navy region south-east (NRSE) under a contract awarded by the US General Services Administration (GSA).

Under the $25m contract the company will provide IT services including intranet and information assurance support, application portfolio management and cyber asset reduction.

In addition, the SAIC will also support the navy’s emergency response management system and E911 call dispatch centre.

Work under the three-year contract will be carried out primarily at navy installations in the south-eastern US, and parts of the Caribbean.
