Under the deal, the company will provide the Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA) with contract instruction services (CIS) for the navy.
The five-year CNATRA CIS contract was awarded to the company as a base contract with four one-year options.
As part of the project, CAE USA will be responsible for delivering classroom and simulator instructors at five Naval Air Stations (NAS) in order to support primary, intermediate and advanced pilot training for the US Navy.
The five navy training bases include NAS Whiting Field in Florida, NAS Corpus Christi in Texas, and NAS Meridian in Mississippi.
CAE USA president and general manager Ray Duquette said: “We are pleased to be selected for this highly competitive programme to support US naval aviation pilot training.
“Over the past several years, we have demonstrated our capabilities to the navy on the T-44C programme as a world-class provider of comprehensive training solutions and services.
“CAE USA looks forward to expanding our support of the primary and advanced flight training that will produce future naval aviators for the US Navy.”
The CNATRA CIS programme has been designed to offer classroom and simulator instructor support services for the primary phase of naval aviation training, which marks the beginning of training for all future US Navy pilots.
