Under the contract, BAE will continue to use its expertise towards development, production, testing, evaluation, sustainment, and updating of major expeditionary ATC aviation systems.

These services will be provided for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF).

Furthermore, BAE will develop and maintain operational software and supporting test beds, field change programmes and supplies for ATC systems for improved platform flight safety.

BAE said that the contract award adds to the company’s support of critical work on important systems.

These systems include the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System, Air Traffic Navigation, Integration, and Coordination System, Airfield Mobile Tactical Air Navigation System, and the ATNAVICS Data Link System.

“Our radar technicians deploy around the world to support the warfighter. Their work is resulting in quicker turnover to the end user, improved hardware reliability, and more accurate installation and precision in the field.”
