The Stan Lander 5612 logistic support vessel is designed to serve the logistics requirements of navies across the globe.
For more than a quarter century Scandinavian Micro System has built its reputation as a leading provider of advanced navigation instruments and passenger information systems for the maritime industry. The company headquarter is in Kolbotn (Oslo), Norway with offices in Fort Lauderdale, USA; London, UK and Hyderabad, India.
ScanRepeater™ navigation instruments is a line of instruments for ship navigation and naval control systems. We offer interface solutions based on our long experience and our world renowned digital gyro repeaters: LR22, LR40 and LR60 (also known as Lehmkuhl repeater). Over 15,000 of our ScanRepeater™ Digital Gyro Repeaters are installed worldwide.
Our digital gyro repeaters are used by both naval and commercial ships and more than 15,000 units are installed worldwide. Current models are LR40 (for step signals and 360X synchro signals), LR60 (for 1x, 36X and 90X synchro signals) and LR61 (dual input digital gyro repeater and compass compare unit). All ScanRepeater™ units provide NMEA output data suitable for interfacing to radars and AIS devices.
With the ScanRepeater™ Optical Bearing Device (OBD) you can make fast and accurate optical bearing observations – both true and relative. The resulting relative and true bearing observations are transmitted to other navigation equipment as serial data (NMEA output). Typical applications are onboard navy vessels and fast commercial vessels. The SR02-xx can be mounted under deck or on a pedestal.
Used in both navy and commercial applications, these units drive a number of mechanical synchro repeaters and/or control transformers. Serial data input signals are converted to synchro signals for 1X, 2X, 36X, 90X, 360X – 50Hz / 60Hz, 400Hz and 500Hz operation. Accuracy is better than +/-0.1 degree.
Serial data input signals can be NMEA, Simrad binary format and various other serial data protocols.
Used primarily for navy applications, these units convert serial input data and produces 400Hz synchro signals with 1X and 36X roll, pitch and heading information.
ScanDisplay® passenger information systems, with interesting up-to-date information on the ship’s TV system, on large screen displays and as interactive solutions, are installed on over 60 cruise vessels. A new range of ScanDisplay® web-based solutions are now available for both onboard and onshore applications: CruiseMonitor™, Voyage Channel™, FleetMonitor™ and FleetPlanner™.
With ScanDisplay® CruiseMonitor™ and Voyage Channel™ you can display topographic maps with the ship’s itinerary and position, Report from the bridge with navigation details, ‘Safety & Secure’ with safety information and procedures, ‘Know Your Ship’ with ship amenities and onboard information, ‘Know the Officers’ with presentations of onboard staff and ‘Port of Call’ presentation with destination profiles as video graphic presentations or MPEG.
This information can be delivered via the onboard TV system directly to large plasma-display screens and video walls. The presentations can also be accessed via web-based interactive TV systems and / or kiosks.
ScanDisplay® FleetPlanner™ is a new planning and simulation tool for home-office marine planning staff. With FleetPlanner you can quickly and easily construct new itineraries, calculate distances, and simulate speed, ETA/ETD, fuel consumption, fresh-water consumption, and various other costs.
ScanDisplay® FleetMonitor™ can read information from the onboard ScanDisplay® system on each ship and give you an up-to-date fleet overview with ship positions, itineraries, speed remaining to next port, ETA and ETD etc. FleetMonitor is a web-based product and can be accessed from any PC connected to the home office LAN.
