OceanServer has signed a master marketing agreement with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC)[NYSE: SAI] to deliver autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) solutions for a variety of defense-related, federal government and other markets.
The agreement highlights OceanServer’s leadership position in cost effective AUV technology and SAIC’s depth in providing engineering and integration expertise to companies and government agencies worldwide. OceanServer has recently delivered four Iver2 AUV vehicles to SAIC for two different government programs.
This strategic teaming in the underwater marketplace should bring together important engineering resources and application expertise to help address a number of challenges in the defense and federal markets.
