A unique design feature consists of a floating steel-pipe pontoon system where the Ocean Guard fenders are installed. The dock is designed to accommodate 4000-passenger cruise ship vessels in excess of 1,000ft in length with a nominal sail area of 143,000m², imparting berthing energy of 535,000 ft-lb.
