Rheinmetall has been awarded a framework contract by the Norwegian Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the supply of different variants of military wheeled vehicles and long-term service support.
Under the contract, Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) will deliver a large number of logistical vehicles to the Norwegian armed forces.
The deal for military logistical vehicles, signed at RMMV’s Vienna plant, is scheduled to be continued through 2025, and is linked to an additional agreement under which the Norwegian armed forces will receive long-term service support from RMMV.
Under an initial €100m order, Rheinmetall will provide integrated logistical support, including the supply of spare parts and maintenance services.
