Cassidian has introduced a new generation of TRS-4D naval radars with improved operational capabilities for surveillance and threat detection.

The TRS-4D is an electronic beam scanning (E-Scan) shipborne radar and is designed to detect movements on the sea and in the air with precision.

The new radar is equipped with a rotating antenna that is based on the active electronically scanning array (AESA) technology and leverages simultaneous multiple beams for increased detection capability and overlaid mechanical and electronic scanning.

The high detection performance of the radar is derived from numerous Cassidian’s transmit and receive modules, which are based on the GalliumNitride (GaN) technology.
