The Russian Navy will test launch a Bulava missile on 28 June, according to a Russian Defense Ministry source.

“The decision to hold a test launch of the Bulava (SS-NX-30) submarine-launched ballistic missile on 28 June was taken by the State Commission for Flight Testing on Saturday,” the source added.

The launch will be carried out from the nuclear submarine Yuri Dolgoruky in the Barents Sea, according to RIA Novosti.

Russia has plans to conduct at least four Bulava test launches by the end of this year for successful deployment on its new Borey-class strategic submarines.
