The US Navy has awarded a task order to CSC to provide engineering and programme support for the DDG 1000 Zumwalt Class Destroyer Programme Office (PMS 500).

The $110m task order was awarded under the US Naval Sea Systems Command SEAPORT-enhanced contract vehicle, and has a one-year base period with four one-year options.

As per the terms of the order, CSC will provide engineering and programme management support for the development, design, building, outfitting and testing of the Zumwalt Class destroyer.

The engineering services also include programme, business, financial and risk management, software and mission systems integration, hull, mechanical and electrical systems engineering, and naval architecture.
