In this paper we present an innovative, small footprint, terrestrial positioning system (TPS) based upon eLORAN that is cost-effective, easily transportable, and rapidly deployable. The system can be used as a standalone site or in conjunction with existing sites, other deployable sites, or other PNT&D technologies. We discuss all aspects of the system and present the design, development, and field test results of a deployment.
