Kollmorgen Corporation, Northampton, MA has been awarded a $5,620,000 modification to previously awarded contract to procure four MK46 Optical Sight Systems (OSS).
The OSS is an integral component of the MK34 Gun Weapon System that includes the 5in MK45 gun mount and the MK160 gun computer system. Two units will be for the Coast Guard; one will be for the Navy; and one the government of Korea under the Foreign Military Sales Program.
Work will be performed in Northampton, Mass., and is expected to be completed September 2008. Kollmorgen is a leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of state-of-the-art Stabilized Optical Sensor platforms.
