Hardware level real-time image processing ensures minimal data latency and maximum system performance. Each model is a true single-board tracker, with all stated features implemented on either a single 6U VME, 6U CompactPCI, or full-size PCI card, requiring no additional daughter boards or modules. ANALOG AND DIGITAL VIDEO TRACKERSThe video trackers interface with both analog and digital video sources, providing ease in interfacing with a wide variety of sensor systems (including both visible and IR sensors). The analog video interfaces provide a 12-bit, 4,096 gray level capability, supporting both standard and non-standard video formats with array sizes up to 1024 x 1024. The digital video interface provides a full 16-bit, 65,536 gray level capability. E-O Imaging's video tracking systems' standard features and options permit easy adaptation to even the most complex and demanding test range, tactical, surveillance and industrial applications. The trackers' designs incorporate a multiple DSP implementation allowing concurrent operation of algorithms in real-time. The systems are structured with an open architecture allowing easy incorporation of specialized features and algorithms. MODEL 702 - VIDEO TRACKING-SYSTEM CONTROLLERThe Model 702 video tracking system controller uses a serial communications link to provide control of E-O Imaging’s 6005, 6006, 6007, and 6008 video trackers. The tracking system controller can be used independently or in conjunction with the Series 6000 Graphical User Interface (GUI) installed on a laptop or PC. The unit allows the user direct access to specific functions of the video tracker for real-time operations. The Model 702 tracking system controller provides the user multiple serial communication ports for controlling or accepting information from external devices. Each of the serial ports can be individually configured for RS232, RS422 or RS485 communications. In addition to the standard configuration using tactile feedback, the unit can be adapted for touch screen or other input devices. Also, the standard lens and tracker functions of the unit can be modified to handle camera and pedestal functions. MOBILE AUTOMATIC TRACKING SYSTEM (MATS)The MATS is a man-portable, precision, real-time tracking system derived from E-O Imaging's extensive video tracking experience. The MATS is a cost-effective tool in providing photo-instrumentation support for weapons system testing and evaluation, and surveillance applications. The system's slave and designate modes also allow the MATS to be used as an adjunct to radars and other E-O instrumentation systems. The MATS is configurable as a standalone Time Space Position Information (TSPI) site, providing both manual and automatic operation. The MATS provides a new level of flexibility and capability in supporting the increasing demands of the test and evaluation community for a cost-effective, reliable solution to E-O instrumentation requirements. SERIES 3000 - VIDEO TRACKING SYSTEMThe Series 3000 video tracking system manually or automatically outputs pedestal position, tracker errors and status information for data recording video annotation.
