The Swedish shipyard ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems AB (formerly Kockums) has been sold to Saab.
With the closing, ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions has received the purchase price of SEK340m (approximately €37m).
The sale of the shipyard was announced at the end of June, but was subject to the approval of the board and supervisory bodies of the ThyssenKrupp Group, as well as the Swedish Competition Authority.
The shipyard has facilities in Malmö, Karlskrona and Muskö.
