Navantia Australia new Canberra headquarters

On 18 February, Navantia Australia Pty Ltd celebrated the opening of its corporate office in the Australian capital, Canberra.

This strategic relocation signifies the next big phase in Navantia Australia’s expansion by reinforcing its national presence, whilst maintaining its global network and solidifies its commitment to short-term prospects such as the AORs and long-term prospects such as the frigates and offshore patrol vessels.

This relocation represents a significant milestone for Navantia Australia, since after four years of its establishment, is now better positioned to deliver key outcomes.

The event had representation from the Ambassador of Spain, Manuel Cacho and the President of Navantia, Jose Manuel Revuelta, who emphasised the international presence of the company and the importance of Australia to Navantia.

"Within Navantia in general and more specifically in Australia, we have a clear commercial strategy; to deliver on our commitments as promised, now and into the future." Jose Manuel Revuelta said. Other attendees include industry representatives and members of the Department of Defence.

These headquarters allow Navantia Australia to capitalise on existing and future opportunities, including SEA 1654 of the AORs, SEA5000 of frigates and SEA1180 of patrol vessels as well as maintenance programmes, and foster strategic relationships through greater collaboration with key stakeholders.

With the opening of this office, Navantia Australia Pty Ltd now has presence in Adelaide, Sydney and Canberra.
