In a recent changeover ceremony held in the famous Hamburg warehouse district Speicherstadt, Guido Gerdemann has been assigned as the new managing director of MTG Marinetechnik.

The new appointment follows the departure of Ullrich Keil, who is going to his well-deserved retirement after 40 years’ of work in the field of naval design.

"I sincerely thank Mr Keil for his trust, his hard work and social commitment to all his employees."

Mr Keil led the company for over ten years and consigns a perfectly structured, economically sound and well-appointed company in a strong market position.

Deeply moved during the ceremony, Mr Gerdemann said: "I sincerely thank Mr Keil for his trust, his hard work and social commitment to all his employees. He has developed MTG into a modern company with a national and international recognition as being a market leader in the field of naval design.

"His attitude and approach to cooperate with our customers at eye level, has given the company an extraordinary good reputation. I’m proud to take the helm of a company of experts and I will do all in my power to keep course and continue the success of MTG," he added.
