SpecTec's beginnings were in the maritime industry over 20 years ago, with personnel having first-hand experience working on board ships and in the offices. As of today, over 12,000 AMOS licences have been sold to more than 1,200 companies in the maritime industry, and more than 7,000 ships are managed on a daily basis.

IMO REGULATION COMPLIANCE

It has also facilitated compliance with International Maritime Organisation (IMO) regulations, including international convention for the prevention of pollution from ships (MARPOL), International Safety Management code (ISM), Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) and International Ship and Port facility Security code (ISPS) requirements.

AMOS BUSINESS SUITE ASSET-MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

AMOS' business suite offers a single-solution asset-management system to reduce operational complexity, increase management-control and decrease the cost of ownership.

SpecTec delivers AMOS as a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) system to suit the onboard maintenance, stock control and purchase processes to the world's navies, or any defence-related organisations.

AMOS can be adopted at the early phase of the ship design project, prior to its operational life, as part of any Integrated Logistic System (ILS) solution.

ADVANCED CONDITION MONITORING AND EXTRA DATA STORAGE

Advanced condition monitoring and extra data storage are both supported to improve and simplify the Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) approach.

The SpecTec defence team can analyse customer requirements in terms of ILS needs and set AMOS to work conforming to customers' logistic requirements. Functional, physical and document-related breakdowns can be performed in accordance with different rules, such as NATO NAVSEA S9040 and the latest ASD/AIA spec 1000D specifications for naval use.
