At the end of last year, after a total of three months of research and development, a cooperation between Saab Bofors Dynamics (Sweden), Raytheon Anschütz (Germany) and SkyDec (The Netherlands) resulted in a successful interface between the Force 5GS SAASM GPS receiver from Trimble and the RBS15MKIII missile, containing a Rockwell Collins NavStrike GPS module, for the K130 project of the German Navy.

The equipment used for this integration is the NGNS04MKII from SkyDec. This system hosts the GPS receiver and offers the MEPS software application from SAAB all the information needed to feed the missile. When the missile is launched it will then have the latest GPS satellite information such as ephemeris, almanac and off course position and time.
