TenCate Advanced Armour - Naval Ship Armour

TenCate Advanced Armour provides customised lightweight protection solutions for use in ships. Naval armour is used to protect mission-critical areas on board, including ammunition magazines, bridge stations, combat information centres, communication equipment and weapon systems.

Our protection solutions are tailored to meet user requirements for either permanent integration into the structure of a new vessel or for additional protection of existing ships. Naval vessel armour can be customised to tackle individual project specifications, so that it fits specific requirements. The protection level provided can be from NATO STANAG 4569 level I to VI, or to comply with specific customer requirements.

Our projects include the two Danish support ships Absalon and Esbern Snare, which are protected with armour panels designed and produced by TenCate Advanced Armour.
