Princetel is now offering ten channels on its MJn series fiber optic rotary joints, up from seven channels in the past. These additional channels have no effect on either the body diameter or the mounting scheme, which means that current customers of MJn series FORJs can easily upgrade to a larger channel count without modifying the current mounting design.

The company has also managed to maintain its current specifications on the ten channel device. All channels will have uniform performance across the board (insertion loss, return loss, and crosstalk). Like its predecessor, the ten channel device allows the mixing of single mode and multimode fibers in one device.

Princetel manufactures a complete line of fiber optic slip ring products, covering single channel, dual channel, and multiple channel devices. Certain models are available for extreme environments, high speed, or pressure compensation. Electrical slip rings are also offered as part of integrated solutions (E/O rotary joint).
