These sensors are attached to the existing indicator valves which all measure the cylinder pressure at the same time. This online information is then transmitted to a central computer for analysis. LEMAG SHAFTPOWER – PERMANENT POWER MEASURING SYSTEMSLEMAG Shaftpower is a permanently installed system that measures the actual power output of the ship's propulsion engine. It operates absolutely contact free and does not use strain gauges. The measured data is displayed in 'real-time'. Comparing the actual data with the pre-set 'propeller curve' helps the operator avoid unintentionally overloading the engine. As an option it is possible to measure fuel consumption, enabling the crew to optimize cruising speed and trim. LEMAG SLASHPOL – HFO HOMOGENIZER / EMULSIFIER FOR REDUCED Nox EMISSIONSThe LEMAG Slashpol HFO homogenizer / emulsifier reduces NOx emissions and improves the combustion of every engine at low investment costs and reduces visible smoke. The surface layers of combustion residues on turbochargers, exhaust ducts, piston crowns and rings, cylinder liners and injection nozzles are also significantly reduced.
