Thrusters for yachts, naval vessels and commercial vessels

Thrusters have become an essential addition for propulsing and maneuvering today's maritime vessels. To provide thrust in all directions we supply GME-branded bow thrusters, retractable thrusters and azimuth thrusters ranging from 20 kW to 1,300 kW.

Together with our sister company Global Marine Engineering we also manufacture clutches and PTO's suitable for bow thrusters, mechanical drives, pump drives, generator drives, waterjets and winches. Our range of products includes:

• In-line clutches: flywheel mounted with integrated hydraulic or electric clutch pack. Torque range from 800Nm – 16,000Nm
• Right angle front PTO’s: developed for limited spaces, with integrated hydraulic clutch pack. Torque range from 800Nm – 16,000Nm. Gear ratio 1 : 1.2 to 1.4
• Speed-Up gearboxes: parallel shafts with integrated hydraulic clutch pack. Torque range from 800Nm – 16,000Nm. Gear Ratio 1 : 1.2 to 1.3
