Since 1960 ARESA, based in Arenys de Mar (Barcelona) has been dedicated to the manufacture of all types of professional watercrafts. With nearly 50 years of experience and over 1,200 boats built, GRUPO ARESA is present in over 20 countries in four continents, focusing on technological upgrading and the international dissemination of their products.
Since the 1970s, ARESA has been building military vessels for clients as prominent as the Spanish and Senegalese navies, among others. In 1976 ARESA built one of the first female molds in Europe and the first in Spain, for polyester laminates of more than 15m in length.
Since the year 2000, ARESA has operated the largest female mold in the European private industry, for vessels of 50m in length, using the most advanced systems in the application of these materials. These include vacuum infusion, the VIP system, the RTM Light and CCBM.

In addition to Spanish legislation regarding boat building, ships built by the Grupo ARESA meet several international standards in compliance with all the naval classification certifications, ISO 9001-2008, ISO 14001-2004 and EMAS standards. Equally, our vessels are subject to more than 150 points of quality control in the construction process and the assembly line in our yard.
Grupo ARESA recently opened its new Laminates central (LAMICAT). A top line company in the Spanish state in terms of building composites. Next to this production center, the technology center will be developed, where all types of research trials and technological innovations with high-quality industry composites will take place.
