35m Fisheries Protection Craft

The 35m Fisheries Protection Craft though designed and constructed as a Fisheries Protection Craft, the Client, Ministry of Defence and National Security, of the Republic of Maldives, intends to use this Craft for Offshore Patrol duties to protect its territorial waters, from poachers and intruders.
This FPC is 35m in length and is of aluminium construction and is fitted out with two CUMMINS KTA 50 M 2 Main Engines (each engine developing 1345 kW @1900 rpm) driving two Hamilton HM 721 waterjets, achieving speeds in excess of 25 knots.
The Crew quarters have been ergonomically designed with Mess, Galley and Toilets meeting international quality standards. With a fuel capacity of 22.5 Tons and a fresh water capacity of 2.0 T, the FPC has an endurance in excess of 1500 nautical miles and her crew is capable of operating at sea for extended periods. The FPC is highly maneuverable while working within harbour premises and restricted waters. The FPC including all its material, machinery, equipment, piping, workmanship etc, is built in accordance with the requirements of the classification society.
