Gresham Power Electronics is the trading name of Digital Power Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Digital Power Corporation of Fremont, California and has earned a reputation as a leading European manufacturer and distributor of high quality electrical products for defence and commercial applications. Our primary product lines are: Power Conversion and Distribution Equipment for Naval and Military Applications; Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS); DC/AC Inverters (primarily for the telecommunications industry); Power Supplies (Gresham Power Electronics is the official European distributor for Digital Power Corporation products.)

Gresham’s Defence business has been established in Salisbury, UK for more than thirty years. Specialists in the field of Naval power conversion and distribution, the company has equipment on virtually all of the Royal Navy’s submarine and surface fleet. Over the years a strong export business has been built up and Gresham’s equipment is deployed on many foreign Navies from Australia to Malaysia - from Oman to Turkey. Latest designs are now in build stage, in support of a number of current European warship building programmes including the F-100 Frigates being built by E N Bazan at El Ferrol.

• Transformer Rectifiers to 15KW for Helicopter start/wash and DC machinery
• Battery Chargers for Helicopter batteries and general purpose
• Static Frequency converters to 15KVA to provide high quality 400Hz supply for ship’s gyros, radar, sonar and weapons systems

UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLIES

Gresham offers a comprehensive range of upgradeable systems from 1kVA to 8kVA for Telecoms and other applications. Long automomies are available as standard as are power monitoring and shutdown software. Specific and discreet design solutions are offered with major systems up to 1600kVA. Our Service Department offers full service and maintenance support.

POWER SUPPLIES

Gresham Power Electronics offers a full range of Digital Power switchmode power supplies with specialist engineering support, own manufacture inverters from 250VA to 2000VA, a complete range of dc/dc and dc/ac converters (both linear and switchmode) as well as frequency and battery changers, transformer rectifiers, transformers, switchboards, uninterruptible power supplies and linear & switchmode power supplies (ac/dc : dc/dc).

Gresham Power Electronics operates a Quality Management System assessed to BS EN ISO 9001.
